Internship Program
Sharpening your skills for the glory of God’s kingdom!
An internship season with ABB provides hands on experience with bookkeeping, inventory management, payroll, financial and compliance reporting, donor management, fundraising, and other highly desirable nonprofit and accounting skills. Interns participate in one, in-person service experience with a Ministry Partner.
Internships Are Offered
SPRING - February to April
SUMMER - June to August
FALL - September to November
Internships run for 12 weeks with a weekly commitment of 10 to 20 hours. This is a remote work environment with occasional in-person meetings. The Internship Program Director provides ongoing one-on-one interaction throughout the duration of your internship.
Support Raising
Interns with ABB are compensated and expected to play an active role in fundraising support for their position. ABB staff will come alongside to help guide interns in this process that will begin 6-8 weeks prior to the internship start.
Communication is Key...
We are a remote workforce operating across time zones and cultures - excellent communication is crucial. Interns are provided clear expectations and we emphasize the importance of over-communicating. You'll spend time with ABB team members and the Ministry Partners we serve engaging in both routine tasks and project work. Don't hesitate to initiate conversation and ask questions!
